Enertech Manufacturing, LLC, produces geothermal heating and cooling products in Mitchell. Headquartered in Greenville, Ill., Enertech has been in South Dakota since 2007. And because of increased interest on a national level in environmentally friendly products, demand has risen and Enertech has grown.

Shortly after locating in South Dakota, the facility was expanded to double the square footage. Enertech has plans to expand again in 2009 to meet the company’s growth projections of 700 percent during the next five years.

“Enertech credits a large portion of our success to the pride in craftsmanship, workmanship, and work ethic put forth by the support of the staff members at the Mitchell facility,” said Steve Smith, president. “When we purchased an additional brand already produced in Mitchell, it was apparent that we needed to continue hiring from the Mitchell area.”
