First Lady’s Prairie Arts Showcase Scheduled 

PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota artists are invited to participate in the First Lady’s Prairie Arts Showcase, scheduled for Oct. 26-27 in Pierre during the 2012 Governor’s Invitational Pheasant Hunt.

The Arts Showcase will be hosted by First Lady Linda Daugaard.

"South Dakota has many incredible artists, and this event provides a wonderful venue to showcase their work,” the First Lady said. “The Prairie Arts Showcase has become a special feature that our guests at the Governor’s Hunt look forward to every year.”

The artists’ application deadline for this juried event is July 2.
