First National Bank was chosen as the South Dakota Governor's Office of Economic Development's Lending Partner of the Year.

"This is a new award that we established to recognize the bankers that have most effectively partnered with us throughout the year," GOED Commissioner Pat Costello said. "Teaming with bankers is such a vital part of so many of the GOED's financing programs, we felt it was only appropriate to recognize standout banks and bankers."

The award was given at the South Dakota Bankers Association's student business plan competition on Feb. 13.
